COVID-19 Food Relief

On the 26th March 2020, the South African President, Cyril Rhamaphosa, initiated a countrywide lockdown to counter the spread of the coronavirus: SARS-CoV-2. This lockdown negatively impacted an already struggling economy and sent shock waves of hunger through the poorer communities of the country. The Voice of the Voiceless rallied and with the help of our committed donors were able to consecutively make and distribute food hampers in the communities of Hanover Park and Lavender Hill in Cape Town.
